Delicious Candles was born in 2013 simply because a daughter (me) wanted to give her mother a handmade gift that she would appreciate and didn’t come with a huge price tag! At the time my Mum was spending $500-$1000 a month on candles! So, I decided to learn how to make them for her and for myself because I love candles as well!! After months of testing, testing and testing, little did I know this part of the journey was going to cost me time, money sweat and tears but it was all worth it in the end!! My passion and love for candles grew as I appreciated and learned the craft of making.
I gave my Mum a hamper of candles for her birthday that year which she loved! That Christmas I got several orders and a few here and there over the following months while still working my full time 9-5 job! The days were long and the nights were longer yet I enjoyed every minute of it!! As they say the rest is history!!
Finally today after moving interstate from Sydney to the Gold Coast, having our first baby and deciding to stay home and focus on growing my business I can say I still love what I do and get excited about what the future holds! This is my passion and I pour love into each and every product!!
My aim is to continually bring you fresh, unique items with just that extra special spice of luxury and class with a realistic and affordable price. In this fast paced world lighting a candle, taking a bubble bath or finding that perfect personalised gift isn’t easy, our time is so precious that I want to show you that you and your family and friends are worth it! I also want to take the burden of having to search everywhere for that perfect gift by showcasing handmade products that say you’ve put thought and love into choosing that present for someone special!!
