Q. Why is there a lot of smoke and soot on my candle jar?
A. Most likely you have ‘power burned’ your candle. We recommend that you burn your candle for 3-4 hours at a time to avoid sooting. You will also get more out of your candle by sticking to these burn times and they will last longer.

Q. Why is my candle tunnelling down, not burning to the edge and drowning the wick?
A. Candles have a ‘memory line’ this means that the first time you burn your candle you need to allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges. This should avoid tunnelling for all future burns.

Q. I’ve been burning my favourite candle for months and all of a sudden I can’t smell it! Is there something wrong with this candle?
A. More likely you’ve become immune to the smell of the same scent over and over again! Unfortunately this can sometimes happen! Try asking a couple of other people who don’t live in your home their opinion on how strong the scent is when they walk in. Most likely they can easily enjoy your candle! Try burning new fragrances for a while and go back to the same candle in a few weeks and see how you go!

Q. Why did my candle jar cracked when I tried to burn my candle all the way to the bottom?
A. We do not recommend that you burn your candle right to the bottom of your jar. This creates too much heat and not enough wax the further down you burn your candle. Leave about 2cm of wax in your jar for safety and to avoid damaging the surface your candle is sitting on (Although you should always burn your candle on a heat safe surface!).

**So you don’t waste your candle wax why not scrape it out of the jar and use it like melts on your electric/tea light burner or pluggable!

Q. The bulb of my pluggable/electric burner isn’t working what can I do?
A. First contact us as we stock spare globes for most of our burners. If we don’t have it in stock we can advise you of where to buy globes usually from Bunnings, specialty light stores or Ebay. If the issue is an electrical problem Delicious Candles gives you a 12 month warranty on electric burners and 6 months warranty on pluggables when used correctly.

Q. My melt shot doesn’t have a fragrance anymore but there’s still a lot of wax in my burner?
A. Unlike candles melts are a flameless and therefore the wax will not disappear. Only the fragrance will be released by the heat of the bulb or the tea light. Each melt shot will fragrance your home for approximately 20 hour. Once the fragrance has gone remove the wax from your burner and replace with a new melt shot!

Q. I want to pay by credit card how do I do that?
